Andrew Robertshaw
Providing expert Physiotherapy with over 15 years experianceI qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2004 from the University of Bradford. I started my career in the NHS in Leeds. Here I worked with some excellent senior MSK Physiotherapists and international leading Orthopaedic Consultants. This experience in my early career inspired me to pursue a specialist interest in MSK Physiotherapy. From here I secured a post working at Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS trust as a senior MSK Physiotherapist.
I left the NHS in 2012 to pursue my first move into Private Practice working at a Physiotherapy Centre in Bradford for over 7 years. It provided me with the opportunity to further enhance my assessment, treatment and rehabilitation skills especially within Sports Injury assessment and management. I gained invaluable experience assessing and treating children and adults competing in multiple sports including Swimming, Athletics, Gymnastics, Cycling, Football, Rugby, Motorsport and many more.
Prior to training as a Physiotherapist, I graduated from the Leeds Metropolitan University with a BSc Hons Sport and Exercise Science Degree. Such enhanced knowledge of Strength and Conditioning and Exercise Training Programs allows me to advise and direct my patients on exercises to promote optimal recovery for their occupation, sport and lifestyle.
My Physio was started in July 2019, born from 15 years of experience both NHS and Private. Starting in a Consulting Room within the Wellness Rooms, Halifax, the ultimate goal is to grow into a leading Private Practice.
